The Head Teacher and Staff have a genuine concern for your children whilst in their care and every attention is paid to the child’s well being. To this end the Head Teacher or class teachers are available to discuss any concerns you may have. No problem is so small that it cannot be solved. A matter which may seem insignificant to an adult may well be of great importance to a child. The Head Teacher welcomes parents coming to discuss their concerns. Likewise the Head Teacher or class teachers will contact you if there are any points causing concern.
We also operate a ‘Special Friends’ system where a child in Year 6 is paired with a Reception child for the academic year. It is the responsibility of the Year 6 child to ensure their ‘Special Friend’ feels safe and secure at play times and during assemblies. The children also have opportunities to come together for paired reading and for other activities during the school year.
