St Anne’s Catholic Primary School was opened on 30th April 1968 in new purpose designed buildings. The main block consists of seven classrooms, a library, the hall, which is also used as a dining room at lunchtime, an administration block and a state of the art ICT suite.
The school now owns the building at the back of the school, The School Annexe, which provides small group teaching space, SEN room and a fully functioning kitchen.
Lottery funding enabled us to transform the garden so the children benefit from a covered outdoor classroom, school pond and raised vegetable beds.
Outside there are separate Nursery, Infant and Junior play areas.
There is an on site football pitch which can also be used as a running track in the summer and a netball court.
