The Church has always held the view that every child is a unique gift from God with individual needs and gifts and is entitled to an education which fits their own requirements. We try to ensure that, in partnership with our parents, we identify these needs and develop appropriate strategies. Sometimes children who have a particular need that requires more support follow an individual programme of work which will often be administered alongside the normal classroom programme. Sometimes children will be organised into small groups who will be helped by a classroom assistant.
Parents are closely involved in discussions regarding the needs of their child’s development. We believe a close working partnership is vital in ensuring that every child reaches their potential.
The school has achieved Dyslexia Friendly Status.
